The F-4 Phantom II was a carrier-based fighter developed by McDonnell Aircraft Company in the United States. Adopted by many countries due to its success in the Vietnam War, there are various derivative versions that meet the needs of each country, and it is considered to be a representative aircraft of the Cold War era. Production continued even after the merger of McDonnell and Douglas, boasting top-class production numbers among supersonic fighters. More than 60 years have passed since the start of its combat deployment in 1961, but it is still in operation in some countries. This kit is of the E type, which features advanced ground-attack capabilities compared to the D type, has a modified engine and radar, and is equipped with a fixed M61A1 20mm Vulcan cannon on the nose.
