RGD-5 grenades and a box (1/35)
SKU: S-288RGD-5 (GRAU Index — 57-G-717) is a Soviet offensive hand grenade, refers to anti—personnel fragmentation hand grenades of the offensive type. In 1954, the RGD-5 was adopted by the USSR Armed Forces, replacing the RG-42 offensive grenade.
Grenades were used during the fighting in Syria and Ukraine. It is also produced in Bulgaria, North Korea, Poland, in China (as Type 59)
The set includes a shipping crate, a crate lid, zinc for fuses and 15 grenades: 5 grenades with a screwed-in shipping cap, 5 with the cap removed but without fuses and 5 grenades with an installed fuse. Also included in the set is a photo-etched brass board with hinges and locks for the drawer and 15 check rings and fuse brackets and a decal with the marking of the drawer.
The set is supplied in an unassembled and unpainted form.
