The PLA Navy Project 052C DDG(170/171)was designed for aerial defence,anti-submarine and anti-surface ship warfare.She is the first Chinese DDG equipped with phased Array panels and vertical launch systems.4 fixed phased Array antennas embedded in the foreward superstructure. The Top Plate S/C air search radar has been replaced by Type SR64 surface/air search radar on top of the foremast. 052C equipped with the HHQ-9 VLS launcher, instead of The Russian RIF-M. Length overall:154 m Beam:17 m Displacement:7000ton.
