Το Mil Mi-24 (Hind) είναι το πρώτο σοβιετικό εξειδικευμένο μαχητικό ελικόπτερο, που παρουσιάστηκε το 1971. Χρησιμοποιήθηκε ενεργά κατά τα χρόνια του Αφγανικού πολέμου, κατά τη διάρκεια των μαχών στην Τσετσενία, καθώς και σε πολλές άλλες περιφερειακές συγκρούσεις.
