Ο Husky VMMD (Vehicle Mounted Mine Detector) αναπτύχθηκε στη Νότια Αφρική τη δεκαετία του 1970. Το όχημα, το οποίο ήταν παλαιότερα γνωστό ως Chubby, κέρδισε μεγάλη φήμη με τις υπηρεσίες του κατά τη διάρκεια του πολέμου στο Αφγανιστάν.
