Η χαρτοταινία Mr. Masking Tape είναι κατασκευασμένη από εξαιρετικά λεπτό χαρτί washi, το οποίο είναι λιγότερο πιθανό να αφήσει ανομοιόμορφο φιλμ χρώματος μετά την αφαίρεση, και έχει εξαιρετική ελαστικότητα, καθιστώντας την ιδανική για προσκόλληση σε καμπύλα σημεία. Επιπλέον, η υψηλή διαφάνειά της βελτιώνει την ακρίβεια κατά την κοπή εξαρτημάτων, κολλώντας τα σε ένα χαλάκι κοπής ή κατά την κοπή για να ταιριάξει σε πολύπλοκες διαιρέσεις χρωμάτων.
