Το ρωσικό όχημα T-90AM «Proryv» και η εξαγωγική του έκδοση T-90MS είναι η τελευταία τροποποίηση του κύριου άρματος μάχης T-90A. Η πιο σημαντική αλλαγή αφορά τον πυργίσκο, ο οποίος είναι πλέον εξοπλισμένος με το νεότερο και προηγμένο σύστημα ελέγχου πυρός Kalina, το οποίο διαθέτει ενσωματωμένο σύστημα πληροφοριών και ελέγχου μάχης. Επιπλέον, η δεξαμενή είναι εξοπλισμένη με εκσυγχρονισμένο όπλο λείας οπής 2A46M-5 120mm με νέα αυτόματη συσκευή φόρτωσης. Επιπλέον, ένα τηλεκατευθυνόμενο αντιαεροπορικό πυροβόλο T05BV-1. Η προστασία αποτελείται από τα νεότερα αντιδραστικά τούβλα θωράκισης Relikt. Ο εκσυγχρονισμός οδήγησε στο γεγονός ότι η κινητικότητα και η ασφάλεια του άρματος T-90MS έχουν βελτιωθεί σημαντικά και οι διαστάσεις έχουν παραμείνει πρακτικά αμετάβλητες, επομένως παραμένει στην κατηγορία των οχημάτων μάχης έως 50 τόνους.
