Τα γερμανικά διπλάνα του Α' Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου είχαν δείκτη ταχύτητας αέρα που λειτουργούσε με ανεμόμετρο. ολόκληρη η συσκευή ήταν συνδεδεμένη στο φτερό κοντά στον πιλότο, όπως φαίνεται στην παλιά φωτογραφία του Α' Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου στα δεξιά. Με τις τρέχουσες ρητίνες μοντελοποίησης, σε κλίμακες 1/48 και 1/32, τα στενά μέρη του ανεμόμετρου σπάνε εύκολα και η συνήθης λύση ήταν η παραγωγή ανεμόμετρων που έχουν τροποποιηθεί χονδρικά σε σχέση με το πρωτότυπο. Τα μοντέλα GasPatch παράγουν τώρα ένα πιστό μοντέλο του δείκτη ταχύτητας αέρα κατασκευασμένο με ειδική ρητίνη, το οποίο είναι ισχυρό και δεν σπάει κατά τη συναρμολόγηση ή το βάψιμο. Παράγουμε τον δείκτη ταχύτητας αέρα σε κλίμακες 1/48 και 1/32 .
